Steven and William Ladd
, Steven and WilliamSteven and William Ladd are brothers who were raised in St. Louis, Missouri. They were born in in 1977 and 1978, respectively. Steven graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City in 1998, where he explored theatre, fashion, performance, and art. William traveled the world as a model and pursued his interest in beadwork.
In 2000, the Ladd brothers moved to Brooklyn and established a design studio. Their work incorporates text, drawing, sculpture, installation, performance, and fashion, and they have exhibited their designs at the Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, the Musée des art decoratifs du Louvre, Paris, and The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu.

The Corning Museum of Glass partnered with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to present GlassLab, the Museum's design program, in Paris, in the Tuileries Garden, October 22-27, 2013.
