Description
Betty Woodman (American, b. 1930) is a widely-recognized ceramist who made this trio of glass forms at CIRVA (Centre International de Récherche sur le Verre et les Arts Plastiques) in Marseilles, France. While she is best known for her functional ceramics, her recent vessels have become increasingly abstract. These glass vessels were blown with the assistance of Dutch artist Hanneke Fokkelman and American artists Suzanne Charbonnet and Jeff Zimmerman.
